Daniel Assetta co-created and starred in the award-winning cabaret "Siblingship," alongside his real-life sister, Chiara Assetta. The production is a high-energy, comedic exploration of the childhood rivalries and shared dreams of two siblings growing up in a show-business-obsessed household. Following its sold-out premiere in Sydney, the show toured to Melbourne’s Chapel Off Chapel, Canberra, and Parramatta, earning the 2021 BroadwayWorld Award for Best Cabaret.
The show is a "dynamic tour de force" of musical theater, featuring everything from Disney medleys to high-octane tap numbers. Critics hailed the production for its "flawless" chemistry and "explosive" talent, noting that the duo’s shared history created a unique and "infectious" stage presence. "Siblingship" is more than just a cabaret; it is a heartfelt tribute to the bond of family and the relentless pursuit of a life on stage
