Daniel Assetta recently made his Carnegie Hall debut in Best of Broadway, a special concert presented by producer Janis Sidovsky at Zankel Hall featuring the internationally acclaimed European crossover ensemble 4 Musical Tenors. The evening celebrated some of Broadway’s most iconic music, with selections from West Side Story, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Aladdin, and more.
Joining the concert as a featured Broadway guest artist alongside Heather Makalani and Rachel Zatcoff, Daniel performed Stephen Sondheim’s “Losing My Mind” from Follies before returning to the stage for a quintet performance of “Somewhere” from West Side Story. New York Concert Review praised his “thoughtful and persuasive interpretation” that showcased “what artistry can do.”
The performance marked a special milestone in Daniel’s New York career, appearing on one of the world’s most legendary stages alongside an international lineup of celebrated musical theatre artists.
